Western University is located in the City of London, Canada — situated in southwestern Ontario between Toronto and Detroit. Western’s campus, with over 30,000 students celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2003 and has developed into one of the top universities in the nation. Western’s athletic program has prided itself on its breadth and its competitiveness in the OUA (Ontario University Athletics) conference and CIS league (Canadian Interuniversity Sport). Wrestling has been an intercollegiate sport at Western since the 1930’s and its continuity has enabled stability in the program to create a fine tradition of excellence.
