{"id":2435,"date":"2015-08-18T16:05:31","date_gmt":"2015-08-18T16:05:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westernwrestling.ca\/?page_id=2435"},"modified":"2018-10-24T17:32:19","modified_gmt":"2018-10-24T17:32:19","slug":"fund-raising-bingos","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/westernwrestling.ca\/pictures\/fund-raising-bingos\/","title":{"rendered":"Fund Raising &#8212; Bingos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bingos are important for our fund-raising initiatives that help subsidize costs associated with our wrestling program.\u00a0 London-Western is a registered not-for-profit club, and our Age-Group coaches are volunteers.\u00a0 We take pride in saying that almost all of our fundraising is directed back to the members to support their participation in competitive events.<\/p>\n<p>Scheduled Bingos (volunteers needed)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Positions needed:<\/strong> 5 volunteers per bingo<\/p>\n<p><u>Shift 1: 3 persons at 5:00-8:00 pm (approximate end times)<\/u>. The Bingo Coordinator may allow Shift 1 workers to depart after intermission if bingo is operating efficiently. General duties include, making change, working shutter boards, selling bingo cards.<\/p>\n<p><u>Shift 2: 2 persons at 6:15 pm to end of bingo (approximate end time 9:30 pm\u2019sh)<\/u> General duties include working shutter boards. A lot of down time bring a book to read or something to entertain yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Matinee bingo:\u00a0 If we have a matinee bingo in the afternoon, the start times are 12:30 (3 persons) and 1:45 pm (2 persons) with finish by 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Late bingo:\u00a0 If we have a late bingo, the start time is 9:30 pm\u00a0 (4 persons). Finish well past midnight (for night owls!)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Country Bingo Hall: 1106 Dearness Drive, London.
