Mustangs take 4 medals

Rookie, Ligrit Sadiku (57 kg) and women’s team member, Julie Steffler (55 kg), both won silver at the Greater Toronto Open.
Kinesiology major, Michelle Szilaygi placed 3rd in the women’s 82 kg class while Michaelia Walls and Claire Lizotte finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the women’s 67 kg class. Kyle Bonk-Dann was 3rd in men’s 100 kg group.
The women’s team finished 3rd while the men’s team ended in fourth place.
Top six placed finishers included, Ross Traves finishing fourth in the men’s 57 kg and Braeden Bertrand-Hopper in sixth for the men’s 61 kg class. Other Mustangs who competed but did not place include Jamie Golob (72 kg), Ben Jaworski (82 kg), and Jackson Browning (82 kg).
