3 team members, 1 coach on Francophonie Team

Three mustangs to compete in Francophonie Games (Nice, FRA).  September 8, 9, 2013

Steven Takahashi, Riley Otto and women’s team member, Brianne Barry will represent Team Canada at the Francophonie Games in Nice, France.  Mustang High Performance Coach, Saeed Azarbayjani has been named one of two coaches for Team Canada.  Steven and Brianne will compete Saturday September 8, while Riley will compete the next day, September 9th.

The Games are held every four years in the post-Olympic year for countries that include French as a common language.  The 7th edition of the Games will have 57 countries and government states, and will contest seven sports – Athletics, Basketball, Football (Soccer), Judo, Wrestling, Cycling, and Table Tennis.

The four depart Canada on Wednesday September 4 and return September 11th.
