3 to compete at Junior Worlds

Pattaya, THA.  Sep 6-9, 2012

Incoming transfer student, Madi Parks, along with Steven Takahashi and Ilya Abelev make their final preparations towards the Junior World Wrestling Championships.  Parks, who was CIS Rookie of the year in 2012 will compete in the 51 kg FW division.  Two-time CIS champions, Takahashi and Abelev will compete in the 55 kg and 66 kg divsions.  All three are National Junior champions which qualified them to represent Team Canada.

Coach, Dave Spinney was selected as one of three coaches for Team Canada. 

September 6 – FW 44, 51, 59, 67 kg
September 7 – FW 48, 55, 63, 72 kg
September 8 – FS 50, 60, 74, 96 kg
September 9 – FS 55, 66, 84, 120 kg
