Barry wins two matches at Austrian Open

Austrian Ladies Open, Gӧtzis AUT (May 31-Jun 2, 2013)

Brianne Barry won two matches against France and Switzerland at the Austrian Ladies Open.  Despite defeating the bronze medallist, Tatiana Debien FRA, Brianne did not advance from her pool (2-2 win-loss record) based on tie-breaking criteria.  Coach, Dave Spinney, who was part of the National Team coaching staff and said, “Brianne scored with takedowns and wrestled pretty well.”  The win over Debien was important after losing to her at the Dave Schultz International in Colorado in January.
