Valerie Ouellette selected for Bob McLeod scholarship

Congratulations to Valérie Ouellette for being selected as the recipient of the Bob McLeod Scholarship for the 2011-12 academic year.  

The Scholarship is awarded by the Canadian Amateur Wrestling Association.

The native of Campbellton, NB, who is now in her first year at Western, strives for excellence both in the classroom and on the mats.  She achieved a 97% average in her final year of high school.

The Bob McLeod Scholarship is named after the long-serving member of the national association’s Executive Committee who passed away in 1985 and is supported by his family and their generous donations.
