Varallo wins gold at McMaster

McMaster Invitational, November 3, 2012 (Hamilton)

Monica Varallo led the mustangs with a gold medal performace at the McMaster Invitational winning 3 matches in the 82 kg women’s weight class.  Four other mustangs won medals while six others were n the top 6 in their weight class.

Varallo was able to control her opponents using the 2-on-1 tie-up in the standing position, and scored using a cross-ankle turn in ground wrestling.
