Women win Team title
Ontario Junior Wrestling Championships, January 26, 2013 (Hamilton)
London-Western won the overall combined men’s and women’s team title at the Ontario Junior Championships led by a golden performance by the 8 member women’s team with five medals including 3 individual gold medals. The women’s team placed 1st overall, with the men’s team placing 4th.

Alexa Momy (1st 59 kg) and Nicole Vivona (3rd 59 kg)
The women’s team consisted of:
- Parks, Madi 1st 48 kg
- Medeiros, Alyssa 1st 51 kg
- Momy, Alexa 1st 59 kg
- Ouellette, Valerie 2nd 48 kg
- Vivona, Nicole 3rd 59 kg
- Llewellyn, Brenna 5th 63 kg
- Leigh, Cassie 6th 48 kg
- Whiting, Lindsay 6th 48 kg

Alyssa Medeiros won the 51 kg gold

Matt Jagas won the 66 kg gold
The men’s team was led by Matt Jagas (66 kg) who won gold along with medallists, Ingmar Salvador-Guzman (84 kg) and Kyle Bonk (96 kg) who placed 3rd in their respective divisions. Shane Fishman placed 4th at 84 kg. The men placed 4th overall where the point spread among the top five team teams were close to each other. London-Western placed 1st overall in the combined men’s and women’s aggregate team standings.
