Concordia Invitational Wrestling Tournament, October 27, 2013 (Montreal)

Mustangs open season with medal performances.

Mustang, Riley Otto won the 90 kg weight class defeating Andrey Vorontsov (Brock W.C.) in the finals.  The 2^nd year transfer student from Concordia attends King’s and will bolster the mustangs upper weight class.  Teammate, Josh Proctor, placed 3^rd in the72 kg weight class.  Ivey student, Ameed Lakhani placed 2^nd at 54 kg, while Kinesiology student Sammy Hanna placed 4^th at 82.  Joe Dashou, representing London-Western placed 2^nd at 68 kg.

Coach Scott Proctor, said, “It was a good chance for us to wrestle under the new rules and to get back on the mat in a competitive setting.”
