McMaster Inv. results

Several  mustangs had solid performances in their first matches of the season at the McMaster Invitational.    Kristen Bolivar, who sat out most of 2012-13 due to injury had a good performance at 48 kg to win the silver.  Teammate, Alyssa Medeiros recorded 3 wins to win the bronze after losing a hard fought match to Julie Steffler (K-Bay WC) in an opening match.   Rookie Caleb Rutner recorded 3 wins and placed 4th at 68 kg.  Kevin Ens,  placed 2^nd in the heavyweight division losing to Jeremy Latour of the Guelph Wrestling Club.  Michelle Szilaygi went 2-2 and place 4th despite defeatingKate Beulieu (LU) who ended with the bronze.  Christine Schmidt also went 2-2 and secured the 72 kg bronze.

Several mustangs took the week-end off to rest for the New York Athletic Club tournament this week.  Top mustangs will attend:  Steven Takahashi, Riley Otto, Brianne Barry, Valerie Ouellette, Madi Parks, Larissa D’Alleva, and Matt Jagas.
