Barry wins World alternate spot

Brianne Barry defeated Sam Stewart (Bears WC) by Fall (pin) from a head-and-arm throw.  It was Stewart’s second loss to Brianne in the last two meetings.

Brianne lost in the final to Britt Lavedure (CAL) 1-4 in the 53 kg division.

Brianne and teammate Riley Otto (86kg) will compete in the Canada Cup July 5 and leave same evening for the FISU World Championships in Pecs HUN.
