Canada Cup results

Canada Cup International, July 5, 2014 (Guelph)

Two Mustangs representing the London-Western Wrestling Club placed at the Canada Cup of International Wrestling.  Alexa Momy won gold in the women’s 60 kg division, while Brianne Barry placed 2nd at 53 kg.  Top 4 place finishers were Madi Parks 48 kg, Anna McK ee 58 kg and Larissa D’Alleva 63 kg.

Steven Takahashi won his first two matches and was forced to withdraw due to injury after losing his 3rd match to Tony Ramos USA.  Other team members who competed were Riley Otto 86kg, Joe Dashou 61kg, and Kyle Bonk 86kg, and Alyssa Medeiros 55kg FW.

Michaela Walls 56 kg competed in the Pre-Junior competition the following day, but was eliminated in the preliminary round.
