Club Members Medal at International Tournaments

Three London-Western Wrestling Club members competed this past weekend at two different international wrestling tournaments. On Saturday, June 28th  Daniel Coles and Adam Thompson competed in the Canada Cup wrestling tournament held in Calgary. The competition attracted wrestlers from across North America as well as a team from the Republic of Korea. Adam Thompson, competing in the 74kg division, placed third. Wrestling in the 65kg division Daniel Coles won all three of his matches to claim the gold medal. In the final Coles defeat Jinwoo Kim of the Republic of Korea by a score of 13-2. Coles was named the outstanding wrestler of the tournament for his performance.

On Sunday, June 29th Treye Trotman competed at the Cadet Pan American Championships in Morelia, Mexico. Treye, competing in the 48kg division, won a silver medal in his Pan American Championships.
