Doug McGregor, Bill Salter — inducted into “W” Club Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Doug McGregor ’79, ’82 and Bill Salter ’58 were inducted into the “W” Club Hall of Fame.

Doug was OUAA and CIAU champion, and competed at the World University Championships in 1977 BUL.  He was a recipient of the George Oliphant Trophy for the mustangs in 1982.

Bill co-authored the first technical instruction book for high school wrestling (with Glynn Leyshon).  He was inducted in the Wrestling Wall of Fame, 2001.  He co-founded the Ontario Wrestling Officials Association and coached the first OFSAA championship team in 1961.
