Schultz International results

Dave Schultz Memorial, Colorado Springs, USA, January 30, 31, 2015

Several veterans competed at the highly competitive Schultz tournament and all 3 team members won international matches led by Madi Parks who went 3-2 win-loss in the 53 kg women’s division.  Parks defeated 2 Americans and her Japanese opponent, Miyu Yamamoto 6-5.  Parks also avenged an earlier lost to Carlene Sluberski (Titan Mercury WC) 3 weeks earlier.

Mustang teammate, Steven Takahashi went 1-2 in the 57 kg division losing to eventual bronze medallist, Angel Escobedo (New York AC), and a controversial 1-1 match vs. Mehmed Feraim BUL which eliminated him from the tournament.  Takahashi won his 2^nd match vs Kyle Hutter (Titan Mercury WC) who defeated Takahashi last year at the same tournament.

Larissa D’Alleva defeated Wendy Maritnez MEX 9-4 and was eliminated losing to Canadian teammate Braxton Papadopoulus (Team Impact) and Manaolva Dzhanan BUL.
