London-Western 3rd Overall at Senior Provincials

The London-Western Wrestling Club competed at the Senior Provincial Championships on Saturday November 24th in Hamilton. The club had a strong showing, finishing 3rd over all in the team standings. The team was lead by three first place finishes by Julie Steffler (57kg), Jennifer Nwamadi (82kg) and Jackson Browning (92kg). Picking up 2nd place finishes were Bradyen Ambo in the 79kg division and Collin Johnston at 93kg. London-Western had three 3rd place finishers; Kennedy McMillian wrestling 59kg, Michalia Walls competing in the 62kg division and Anthony Parker at 125kg. Rounding out top six finishes were Adam MacFayden and Lauchlin MacDonald who both placed 6th at 65kg and 79kg respectively. This was the last tournament before the holiday break for the Jr/Sr program. Next Saturday December 1st the club is hosting the London-Western High School Invitational in Alumni Hall.
