Mustangs place at Concordia

Two mustangs won individual medals in their respective divisions at the Concordia Wrestling Invitational, Oct 31^st.  Second year mustang, Larissa D’Alleva placed 3^rd   (67 kg), along with teammate Nick Bradley who took the men’s 82 kg bronze.  London-Western teammate, Olivia Gunnell placed 2^nd at 59 kg.   

The event was a good opening tournament for mustangs that featured several teams from out of conference, such as U of Alberta, New Brunswick, PEI and Memorial University (NFLD).  Also atending were members from the USOEC women’s team (Marquette, MI).   “It was a good opportunity to compete against wrestlers that we usually see in the OUA,” said Coach, Scott Proctor.  “Overall everyone wrestled well. Team wrestled hard and are coming back with some things to work on to continue to improve.”
