Three Mustangs ranked #1

The CAWA released the CIS individual rankings and three mustangs were ranked first in their individual weight classes.  Rookie, Steven Takahashi took top spot at 54 kg and looks strong having defeated defending CIS champion S. Mazumder twice this season.  Teammate, Eric Jacobson was ranked 3rd at 76 kg.

Women team members, Brianne Barry (55 kg) and Liz Sera (59 kg) were ranked 1st largely based upon last year’s championship results where Barry placed 2nd and Sera 3rd.  Larissa D’Alleva was ranked 2nd at 63 kg. 

The top three place finishers at the OUA Championships in each weight class qualify to the CIS Championships hosted by Lakehead, February 25, 26, 2011.
