Junior Champions Tournament in Ankara

Ankara (TUR) May 13-15, 2011

Four London-Western team members competed in the Junior Champions tournament in Ankara, Turkey, participated by ten countries.  Brianne Barry (55 kg) and Larissa D’Alleva (63 kg) both placed 5th overall in their respective divisions with 1-2 win-loss records.  Teammates, Steven Takahashi (55 kg) placed 10th with a 1-1 win-loss record, while Ilya Abelev placed 11th with the same 1-1 win-loss record. 

London-Western coaches, Dave Spinney and Saeed Azarbayjani both attended the event representing Team Canada.
