London-Western Wrestling Club Mourns passing of BILL PERKINS

The Ontario Wrestling Community is saddened to learn of the death of Bill Perkins from London.  Bill was a long-time elementary school teacher and youth wrestling coach, as well as a wrestling official and supporter of the sport of wrestling in the London Wrestling Community and with the London-Western Wrestling club.  Bill contributed to the sport in many ways and recognition of his contribution is enshrined in the Bill Perkins Award given annually to a developing youth-level official by the Ontario Amateur Wrestling Officials’ Association which Bill served as Youth Representative for many years.

Our thoughts go out to Bill’s wife Susan, children Amanda and Bo, and to his three grandchildren.
