Mustangs win 4 medals at Brock

Brock Open Wrestling Tournament.  St. Catharines, ON (January 9, 2016)

The mustangs won two silver and two bronze individual medals at the Brock Open.  A return of London Saunders graduate, Nolan Deinum, 3 years since his last match, showed he has not forgotten how to compete.  The former Cadet National champion won the silver in the 72 kg weight class.  Teammate, Kyle Bonk won bronze by pinning his Vanier College (MTL) opponent after losing to him earlier in the day.  Ligrit Sadiku won two impressive come from behind victories in the last 6 seconds of each match in a highly competitive 57 kg division to take the bronze.  Julie Steffler won 3 matches by pin but was stopped by 2014 World bronze medalist Jill Gallays in the 55 kg final.
