Parks, Takahashi compete at Olympic Trials

Mustang, Madi Parks and former mustang, Steven Takahashi, competed at the Olympic Trials in Sherwood Park Dec 4-6/15.  Parks went 2-1 win-loss and was unable to advance out of the pool competition in the 53 kg women’s weight class.  Takahashi won the Greco-Roman division vs. number one seed, Dylan Williams in two straight, best of 3 matches.  Takahashi did not advance from the Freestyle ladder the previous day.  The GR victory earns Takahashi the opportunity to qualify for Rio 2016 in up to 3 international events, the first scheduled March 4-6 in Frisco, USA.
